STOCKHOLM - King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden received on Tuesday Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc, who is currently paying a state visit to Sweden.
During the meeting, King Gustaf said that they were looking forward to visiting Turkey between May 29th and June 2nd.
He said that they would have the opportunity of visiting the ancient city of Ephesus during their visit to Turkey.
Arinc said in his part that the visit would make an important contribution to trade volume between the two countries which reached to 2 billion USD.
When Arinc said that 60 percent of Turkish people supported the EU in Turkey, King Gustaf said that Swedish public opinion was in favor of Turkey's becoming a member of the EU.
