BAGHDAD - Insurgents have killed two more US soldiers in fighting in Iraq, the US military announced Thursday.
The first was fatally wounded in a battle in in western Iraq's Al-Anbar province, coalition headquarters said.
The second was patrolling on foot south of Baghdad when an improvised bomb exploded and killed him.
Neither dead soldier will be identified until their relatives have been informed.
The latest deaths brought the US military's losses in Iraq since the March 2003 invasion to 2,606, according to an AFP count based on Pentagon figures.
