BERLIN - DMI Digital Media Institute of the HFF Film & Television University "Konrad Wolf", one of Europe's largest and most renowned schools for film and television, organises a special training program on digital film production, mainly targeting participants from south Mediterranean countries of Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Syria, Tunisia and Turkey.

The "Insight Out" training program to be held for the second time this year from March 19th to 24th, is financed through the European Union within the framework of the Euromed Audiovisual II Program, which is aimed at bridging the gap between the two sides of the Mediterranean by strengthening the audiovisual and cinema fields.

"Insight Out" aims to offer the possibility for the participants to continue their education on the digitalization of the film making process and to discuss the artistic and economic advantages of the new tools with their peers from Europe.

The programme is designed for decision makers in the film, TV, and new media industries such as film and TV executives, producers, VFX supervisors, directors, cinematographers, animation specialists and post-production experts, line and creative producers, cinema operators, as well as film school teachers.

With its expert trainers from across the world who desire to share their knowledge and experience in the latest production technologies and methods in film and television, International HFF Academy aims to offer a very personal knowledge and contact platform on the highest level to the 25 South Mediterranean participants envisaged to take part in the program.

In addition to intense seminars enabling an intensive exchange between participants and experts in diverse topics, the program also offers visits to the studios of the Berlin-Brandenburg post production facilities, which will help the participants have a closer look at their know-how,projects and state-of-the art equipment.
