ISTANBUL - "This is a grave attack to peace, freedom and fraternal social life in Turkey" said Turkey's Sabanci Holding Chairwoman Guler Sabanci, on Friday.
Guler Sabanci released a statement regarding assassination of Hrant Dink, editor-in-chief of bilingual Turkish-Armenian weekly Agos.
Sabanci who said assassination of Dink is an attack to peace, freedom and fraternity in Turkey, added that, "Turkey's journey of democracy and development will go on like it was after similar assassinations to important values of this country previously."
Dink was shot in front of his office building in Sisli district of Istanbul, and died instantly at the scene. Police detained two suspects.
