Domino's Pizza Turkey: Best Franchisee In World
ISTANBUL - Domino`s Pizza Turkey has won the "Gold Franny Award 2006" as the best Domino`s Pizza franchisee.
Domino`s Pizza Turkey Director Aslan Saranga told a press conference on Wednesday that the pizza chain operates 70 restaurants in 10 Turkish cities in its 11th year.
The Gold Franny is the most prestigious honor bestowed on a Domino`s franchisee.
"We won this award because we reached 36 percent growth and 43 percent increase in our revenue. We also hit a level of 5-star operational excellence," he said.
Saranga said they target to reach 93 restaurants at the end of this year with a revenue of 40 million USD and 200 stores in 2008.
Saranga also noted that thew plan to set up a factory in one of the eastern cities of Turkey with a cost of up to 1.5 million USD to expand their business to this region.
Domino`s Pizza, one of the world largest pizza chains, operates 8,000 stores in 60 different countries with a revenue of more than 5 billion USD a year.
