Yennimatas: Target Is To Increase Trade Volume Between Turkey And Greece
ISTANBUL - Greek Ambassador in Ankara George Yennimatas said on Thursday that the trade volume between Turkey and Greece reached 2.2 billion Euro after 1999, adding that the target is to rise this figure to 5 billion Euro as soon as possible.
Speaking in a meeting on Turkish-Greek relations in Istanbul, Yennimatas said that very important economic developments were recorded between the two countries in recent period which were inauguration of Turkey-Greece natural gas pipeline and mutual investments in banking sector.
Yennimatas called on participants of the meeting to further develop the business relations between Turkey and Greece.
