Turkish And Syrian Citizens Start Returning Homeland After Eid al-Adha Celebrations

HATAY/NUSAYBIN - Syrian citizens started returning to their homeland having exchanged Eid al-Adha greetings with their relatives in Turkey.
About 5000 Syrian citizens who had crossed into Turkey from Nusaybin border pass due to Eid al-Adha holiday started returning to Syria on Sunday after spending 48 hours with their relatives in Turkey.
Around 2,487 Syrian citizens will return to Syria today, and the remaining 2,468 Syrians will return to their homeland on Monday.
On the other hand, a total of 35,000 Turkish citizens who have crossed in to Syria through the Cilvegozu and Yayladagi border gates --under the protocol with Syria-- to celebrate Eid al-Adha together with their relatives, started returning to Turkey.
