We Will Cooperate With Montenegro In Electricity Generation, Guler
ANKARA - Hilmi Guler, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, met Friday Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy of Montenegro Vujica Lazovic in Ankara.
Speaking to reporters following his meeting with Lazovic, Guler said Turkey will cooperate with Montenegro in electricity generation.
"We will work with Montenegro in the energy sector. We have affirmed our mutual commitment to establish hydroelectric power plants and thermic power plants. We will conduct joint searches for minerals, including coal," Guler told.
"We will establish pipelines with Montenegro to carry natural gas," Guler also said.
Meanwhile, Lazovic said there are friendly relations between Turkey and Montenegro. "We want to reflect our good relations to the energy sector and make use of Turkey`s experiences," Lazovic also said.
