Prime Minister Erdogan In Bosnia- Herzegovina

SARAJEVO - University of Sarajevo decorated Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan with an honorary doctorate in Sarajevo on Tuesday.
University of Sarajevo Rector Prof. Faruk Caklovica thanked Turkey for its contributions to Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Noting that Turkey is among the states which extend important assistance to higher education in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Caklovica said that Turkey provides school and housing for students from Bosnia-Herzegovina for free.
On the other hand, Prof. Hasan Muratovic said that Erdogan, throughout his term in office as prime minister, has taken inflation rate under control which has been the biggest problem of Turkey in recent years.
He added that Erdogan contributed to construction of many universities, schools, hospitals, hydroelectrical power plant and highways across Turkey.
Muratovic noted that Erdogan also fulfilled important reforms on Turkey`s path to EU membership.
Erdogan was decorated with the honorary doctorate due to his contributions to development of education and science as well as improvement of cooperation of Sarajevo University with universities of Republic of Turkey.
Erdogan expressed pleasure over receiving the honorary doctorate and said that Turkey and Bosnia-Herzegovina are two close countries in the aspects of historical and cultural relations.
