American NBC TV Broadcasts Live From Istanbul: Want The Best Of Asia And Europe? Try Istanbul
NEW YORK - "Today Show" of the NBC TV, the number-one morning show of the United States, has broadcast live from Istanbul.
During the show "Want the best of Asia and Europe? Try Istanbul: Explore the city that sits at the threshold of two cultures and continents", Istanbul`s prominent sites such as Sultanahmet (Blue) Mosque, Ayasofya (Hagia Sophia), the Topkapi Palace and the Kapalicarsi (Grand Bazaar) as well as Turkey`s cultural assets such as Turkish cuisine and Ottoman bath were introduced to American people.
Views from the other colorful Turkish sites of Kapadokya (Cappadocia), Izmir, Kusadasi, Bodrum and Efes (Ephesus) were also shown in the show which eulogized Turkey as a "best-kept secret".
