No Slowdown In Reforms On Turkey's Eu Accession Process, Babacan
HELSINKI - Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan said there has not been lack of motivation or slowdown in fulfillment of reforms in regard to Turkey`s EU accession process.
Replying to questions of journalists at the Parliament of Finland, Babacan said reforms have been made for Turkish people and these reforms upgraded living standards of Turkish people.
"If EU has some concrete demands from Turkey on date of reforms, it should first put forth a more concrete timetable for our full membership," he said.
Babacan was received by Finnish President Tarja Halonen and Speaker of the Parliament is Sauli Niinisto in Helsinki on Monday.
