Turkish Flag Hoisted At New York Wall Street

NEW YORK - A Turkish flag was hoisted on Thursday at the Bowling Green Park close to New York`s Wall Street where the New York Stock Exchange is located.
Prior to the "Turkish Day Parade" to be held in New York on May 24th, a traditional flag hoisting ceremony was held.
Turkish Consul General Mehmet Samsar said during the ceremony that there were strong friendship ties between Turkey and USA for long years.
Numerous Turkish and U.S. officials, as well as members of the Turkish-American community attended the flag hoisting ceremony.
