Turkish Airlines grows bigger
TRT - Turkish Airlines Director General Temel Kotil says currently they rank 7th in the world.
Stating that Democratic Republic of Congo capital Kinshasa has become the 200th flight destination of the company, Kotil says they fly to 84 destinations in Europe. Next destination on the list is Djibouti.
Kotil noted that they will introduce new lines to Africa and added the following: "Foreign destinations increased by 3-folds in the last 6-7 years. Flight numbers also increased by 3-folds. At this rate we are headed for world’s number one airline company title. And that makes Istanbul the transfer point of the world."
