Contemporary Turkish Art headed for Seoul
Contemporary Istanbul is organizing an international exhibition in the capital of South Korea between Sept. 6 and 26.
The exhibiton called “Encounters: Turkish Contemporary Art in Korea” will host a selection of contemporary art by 54 artists from Turkey, among whom are both up-and-coming and world-renowned Turkish talents.
Held in Seoul, Far East’s most important cultural and financial hub, the exhibition is expected to significantly increase the global value of contemporary Turkish art.
The exhibition aims at promoting contemporary artists from Turkey, as well as creating a market for Turkish contemporary art in Korea.
