Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoglu spoke with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by phone and provided information on the Akcakale incident and the ensuing developments. Clinton stressed that they would extend full support to Turkey in the United Nations and NATO.
Davutoglu also spoke with foreign ministers of Germany, France, Azerbaijan and Pakistan following the Akcakale incident.
