Elif Safak joins panel of judges for Foreign Fiction Prize 2013 of the Independent
Award-winning Turkish author Elif Safak joined a prestigious panel of judges for the Foreign Fiction Prize 2013 to be presented by The Independent daily.
Apart from Safak, the judges for this year’s Prize consist of Jean Boase-Beier, Professor of Literature and Translation at the University of East Anglia, Gabriel Josipovici, novelist and former Lecturer in English at the University of Sussex, Frank Wynne, literary translator, and Boyd Tonkin, Literary Editor of The Independent.
The Independent Foreign Fiction Prize acknowledges both the author and the translator equally.
