China calls on Syrian parties to seek cease-fire
Chinese government said they called on all parties in Syria to seek a cease-fire and stop the violence.
China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said regarding the latest developments in Syria, "China respects the Syrian people’s choice and takes a positive and open attitude about any political settlement plan widely accepted by Syrian parties."
Hua added, "Once again we call on all parties in Syria to seek a cease-fire and stop the violence. Talks between parties have to be launched and form a political transition road map."
