Turkish premier issues message for Christmas

Turkish PM Erdogan issued a message for Turkey’s Christian citizens, celebrating the Christmas Holiday.

"We are the members of a deep-rooted tradition upheld respect to different religions, beliefs and cultures and considered our differences as richness. I believe that our commitment will continue to building a joint future in peace and mutual respect," Erdogan said.

"I believe that the spirit of unity and the climate of mutual love and respect will get stronger in the future. With these thoughts, I wish all Christians a happy Christmas in tranquility and in peace," Erdogan said.

Turkish President Abdullah Gul also issued a message for the Christmas.
