Davutoglu decorated with honorary doctorate degree in Skopje
Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu was decorated with an honorary doctorate degree on Thursday at the Saints Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia in a ceremony which was also attended by Macedonian President Gyorge Ivanov.
Speaking at the ceremony, Davutoglu said that if Istanbul was not strong, Skoje couldn’t be strong, either.
“Similarly, if Sarajevo, Sofia and Tiran were not strong, Istanbul couldn’t be strong, either. If we are to develop, we would to this together.” Davutoglu added that the honorary doctorate degree which was presented to him was very special to him.
