First images received from Gokturk-2 satellite
Turkey’s second domestically produced Earth observation satellite has started to send its first images from around the world.
Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey’s (TUBITAK) space research team reviewed the temperature, current, regression data and camera images sent by Gokturk-2 and said that the team has been receiving images from the Gokturk-2 satellite for the past four days.
First images are said to be taken from countries such as USA, Brazil, India, as well as Izmir from Turkey.
