A top Syrian police official takes shelter in Turkey

Syrian police official crossed into Turkey via Cilvegozu border gate in Reyhanli town of Turkey’s Hatay province.

Abdul-Aziz Jassem al-Shallal, head of Syria’s military police, took shelter in Turkey.

Al-Shallal, together with his family, crossed into Turkey today via Cilvegozu border gate in Reyhanli town of Turkey’s southern Hatay province.

No information was given where al-Shallal and his family were transferred.
