There is no Turkish officer or soldier in Syria
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that there was no Turkish officer or soldier in Syria.
Answering a question on news reports suggesting that certain Turkish officials were arrested in Syria, Ahmet Davutoglu said that "in recent times, such news reports get published as part of a psychological operation."
"There is not a Turkish officer or soldier in Syria," Davutoglu underlined.
"We find it odd to see such news stories in the Turkish media as these stories get sent from foreign sources," Davutoglu indicated.
"What we find even more odd is the question motions submitted by the Turkish main opposition party based on such news stories and how such motions place the Turkish state and the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) under a difficult position," Davutoglu also said.
