Turkish car market grew 18 per cent
Turkish automobile and light commercial vehicle market grew 18.3 percent in the first two months of 2013 when compared to the same term last year.
According to a report published by the Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), 83,830 automobiles and light commercial vehicles were sold in Turkey in the first two months of 2013.
In the first two months of 2012, only 70,869 automobiles and light commercial vehicles were sold in Turkey.
In February 2013, 48,307 automobiles and light commercial vehicles were sold in Turkey. In February 2012, 41,324 automobiles and light commercial vehicles were sold in Turkey. Thus, sales in February in the automotive sector of Turkey went up 16.90 percent when compared to the same month in 2012.
