METU among the best 60 universities worldwide
The Middle East Technical University (METU) of Ankara ranked within the range of 51-60 of the Times Higher Education’s World Reputation Rankings 2013 list.
According to the Times Higher Education list, METU has considerably upgraded its rank compared to last year’s range of 91-100 to rank in the first 100 along with the world’s leading universities such as Harvard, MIT, Oxford, Stanford and Cambridge.
The media unit of METU said that METU was Turkey’s first and only university entering the World’s Best 100 Universities and ranked within the range of 91-100 in the ’World Reputation Rankings 2012.
Top ranks on 2013 list are dominated by universities from such developed countries as the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan and Australia.
