Syrian regime targets civilians
Mohammad Riad Al-Shoqfeh, leader of Syrian Muslim Brotherhood, has said, the regime in Syria completely target civilians in the country.
Al-Shoqfeh held on Friday a press conference on the 3rd year of the Syria issue and assessed the developments at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Istanbul.
Al-Shoqfeh touched on the process of the revolution and said, in the past two years, 7 thousand people died and more than 25 thousand people ended up in prisons.
Moreover, he said, "The regime completely targets civilians in Syria. They cut children by using knives. There are few countries which helped us. One of those is Turkey. We thank Turkish people and government."
We will not sit with Assad at the table neither in a future government nor in a transitional government, Al-Shoqfeh also said.
A total of 72,000 Syrians have died in Syria, including 5,000 children and 5,500 women, in the past two years. 82,000 people in Syria are still missing. 240,000 Syrians are in prisons. Every day, 8 children get killed in Syria.
