US woman's murder suspect captured in Hatay
Ziya T., nicknamed "Laz Ziya", was captured in the southern Hatay province as the murder suspect of US woman Sarai Sierra.
Hatay Governor Celalettin Lekesiz told AA on Sunday that police captured Ziya T. in Reyhanli town of Hatay at noon today.
The suspect was handed over to court officials following his interrogation, said Lekesiz.
33-year-old Sierra was reported missing on January 21, and her body was discovered in Istanbul's Fatih district near the remains of ancient city walls in Sarayburnu on February 2.
