Turkey, Pakistan conduct joint military exercise
Turkish and Pakistani air forces conducted a joint military exercise in Pakistan.
Turkish and Pakistani war planes performed the simulated military operation "Indus Vipera-2013" at the Mushaf Air Force Base in Sargodha province.
The aim of the operation was bolstering the military cooperation of the two countries. Turkey attended the exercise with five F-16 war planes and a fuel tanker plane.
High level officials from Turkey's and Pakistan's air force watched the exercise.
"Indus Vipera-2013" lasted 12 days and the last day of it was open to press.
Turkey and Pakistan conducted joint exercises back in 2004 and 2008.
