Ramadan preparations continue in Masjid al-Haram

March 21, 2013 - The projected demolition concluded for the expansion of Masjid al-Haram for 2013.

While the construction works are ongoing at full speed around the holy place, all works are to be completed until the beginning of Ramadan on July 9.

The Ottoman porticos ravelled out during the demolition were put in storage where they have been taken under maintenance in preparation for their re-installment.
