Istanbul to host Scottish singer

Istanbul will host Mark Knopfler, Scottish guitarist and singer, on April 27.

Known with the songs such as "Walk of Life", "Sultans of Swings" and "Brothers in Arms", Knopfler will take the stage at Ulker Sports Arena.

Knopfler is best known as the lead guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter for the British rock band Dire Straits which he co-founded in 1977.

He plans to give 72 concerts in 25 countries.
