Turkish foreign minister due to Poland
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will pay a working visit to Poland on Thursday as the guest of his Polish counterpart Radoslaw Sikorski.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry said 2013 would be the 90th anniversary of the penning of a bilateral friendship agreement, and 2014 would mark the 600th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
Davutoglu's visit will be a preparatory one ahead of events which will be organized in both countries to mark the 600th anniversary of the relations, the ministry said.
Bilateral relations, Turkey's EU membership process, the Cyprus issue as well as recent regional and international matters will also be discussed during the meeting, the ministry added.
