Turkish dailies Friday covered the Mus visit of President Gul, blast in Texas, CHP deputy`s resignation over criticizing her party, TIME`s 100 most effective list and and Turkey`s Industry Minister`s reaction to Koc Holding

All of the Turkish dailies covered the M us visit of Turkey`s President Abdullah Gul. Daily TURKIYE headlined "Great support for solution, Mus message" and said thousands welcomed Gul with Turkish flags and walked with him through the boulevard. Addressing at a public meeting, Gul gave "important messages" said thedaily and quoted him saying "the longing for peace is now in the streets, I saw happiness on the faces."
"Very good things are happening" published daily HURRIYET quoting Gul and said it was the first presidential visit to Mus in 29 years. Gul said he watches the bold steps taken with admiration.
Mus, in eastern Anatolia is both a city which is the center of the province with the same name. Mus is one of the places where Kurdish population is majority.
-Second shock for the US in one week-
Most dailies covered the aftermath of Texas blast. Daily ZAMAN headlined, "Second shock for the US in one week" saying that after the blasts in Boston, US was shocked with the second blast in a plant in Texas. The blast occurred due to a fire and 15 people were killed, 160 injured writes the newspaper. Daily SABAH published "Nuclear-like blast in Texas" saying that it was felt in a 100-kilometers range.
-Solution process causes crisis at CHP-
All of the dailies covered the crisis within the main opposition party CHP. "Solution process crisis" in the CHP is getting bigger, says daily VATAN. CHP Leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu asked a deputy chairman, Gulseren Onanc who called on CHP not to stand behind the solution process in Turkey, to resign. Following that step, Kilicdaroglu also sent another deputy to disciplinary committee of the party for insulting a Kurdish deputy, also of CHP.
Daily CUMHURIYET said "CHP is not settling down" while Daily MILLIYET headlined "The difficult choice of Kemal Bey" and added that Kilicdaroglu was considering a mini-revision at the Central Steering Committee as well. Daily STAR said "The more CHP escaping from the solution the more it dissolves" while Daily AKSAM quoted Kilicdaroglu saying "We do not have a fear of breaking up".
-Gulen and Ocalan in TIME`s Time magazine`s 100 most influential people list-
Some of the dailies covered the Turks in Time magazine`s 100 most influential people in the world list. From Turkey, Fethullah Gulen and Abdullah Ocalan were included in the list. Daily MILLIYET said they both were listed under "leaders" category and Gulen`s profile was penned by Stephen Kinzer while Gerry Adams, one of the key figures of the peace process in Ireland, wrote Ocalan`s profile.
-Government decisive for its aim of "a car made in Turkey"-
Some dailies covered the answer of Turkey`s Industry Minister Nihat Ergun to Koc Holding on the production of domestic automobile. Daily BUGUN said "If you do not have intention to do it others would do it" quoting Ergun. Ergun reacted to the chairman of the board of Koc Holding, Mustafa Koc, over his statement on "Producing domestic auto would be a commercial suicide". Ergun said "They keep generating excuses. Others would do it if they would not do it". Daily YENI SAFAK quoted Ergun saying the domestic auto brand is a must.
