Syrian opposition seizes strategic point in Daraa
DAMASCUS - Syrian opposition fighters were reported to have seized a strategically important military point in Dara'a province.
One of the activists in the region stated the opposition fighters rammed bomb trucks into two 20-story buildings which pro-regime forces used a staging area for sharp shooters.
"Assad forces could control the region thanks to the sharp shooters placed on those buildings. The opposition achieved today to get the controlling of the buildings as well as the military point."
He said the military point was the last stronghold of Assad regime in Deraa province.
