BURSA, Turkey - Turkish Deputy PM Bulent Arinc said on Friday that the political storms will not be able to overbalance or divert the route of the strong economic structure built in ten years time.
Deputy PM Arinc spoke at the oppening of the International Balkan Economy Summit held by the Rumelian Businessmen and Industrialist Association (RUMELISIAD) in western Turkish province of Bursa.
Touching upon the ongoing political turbulence in Turkey, Arinc said: "The Justice and Development Party has built a strong economic and political structure in ten years of governing so this political storm cannot overbalance or divert the economic stability achieved."
Addressing Balkan businessmen and entrepreneurs, Arinc said that stronger Turkey means stronger Balkans. "Balkans will develop as Turkey develops," said Arinc.
"All our efforts are to stand against the injustice in the world. This is a reflection of an ideal seeking for a peaceful, developing region and prioritizing welfare and development," added Arinc.
