China hit by magnitude 7.3 quake

BEIJING - A 7.3 magnitude earthquake in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in the northwest of the country was recorded on Wednesday, said China state television.
The epicenter of the earthquake is Yutian county in the far south of Xinjiang province of China, according to China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter was recorded at a depth of 12 km.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
