ANKARA - Turkey`s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking at the opening ceremony of a local subway in the Turkish capital of Ankara, availed of the opportunity to discuss an administrative court`s stay of execution on the construction of a hospital centre in an Ankara neighborhood.
In October 2013, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Etlik city center complex project in the Turkish capital which would serve patients with its eight hospitals, a hotel and a health board along with 3,556 beds. The project at a cost of 2.4 million Turkish Liras was halted by the court recently.
In reference to the court`s decision, Erdogan said, "No matter what they do, we will continue to serve to our country and citizens." He appears determined to see the project through and declared that "It is impossible to understand what they are doing. We are going to make another legal regulation to correct this error".
