BEIRUT - A new government lineup was announced in Lebanon on Saturday under Prime Minister Tammam Salam.
It includes 14 new ministers, including one woman, Lebanese Cabinet Secretary General Soheil Bouji said.
Eight ministers of the new cabinet come from the March 8 Alliance, which backs the Syrian regime, another eight come from the March 14 Alliance, which opposes Damascus.
Lebanon`s political rivals agreed a formula on the government formation earlier this month, making it necessary for the old ministers to change their portfolios if they are included in the new cabinet.
Former Lebanese prime minister Najib Mikati submitted his resignation in March last year, citing hindrances on the way of holding legislative elections according to a set schedule.
