Qatar denounced late on Sunday a deadly tourist bus blast in the Sinai resort city of Taba, only a few meters away from the border with Israel.
"Qatar condemns these actions, which seek to undermine stability and terrorize civilians," a foreign ministry official source told the Qatari news agency.
"We denounce the killing of innocent people," added the source, who was not named.
The tourist bus blast has killed three Korean tourists and the Egyptian driver and wounded fifteen others.
The Qatari official expressed his country's solidarity "with the peoples of both Egypt and Korea."
He insisted that his country denounces all forms of violence and killing.
Egypt's relations with Qatar turned tense after the army's ouster of elected Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi on July 3.
Cairo accuses Doha of supporting Morsi's backers and intervening in its internal affairs.
The Qataris, for their parts, deny the accusations.
