Turkey to evacuate citizens in violence-hit Kyrgyzstan

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Monday that Turkey would send two planes to evacuate Turkish citizens in the cities of Osh and Jalal-Abad of Kyrgyzstan.

At least 117 people lost their lives and more than 1,500 others were injured in the Kyrgyzstan's worst ethnic violence in decades in the cities of Osh and Jalal-Abad that prompted thousands to flee to Uzbekistan.
