Kyrgyz pm hopeful about Turkish pm's upcoming visit

Kyrgyz Prime Minister Jantoro Satybaldiev has said he was hopeful about the formal visit which Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan would pay in his country on Tuesday.

Satybaldiev told AA that Erdogan's visit would help strengthen and develop the relations between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan, adding that Turkey was a strategic partner of Kyrgyzstan in foreign policy.

The first meeting of Turkey-Kyrgyzstan High-level Strategic Cooperation Council --which had been set up on April 26, 2011-- had already been held, and the second one would take place on April 10 in Bishkek, said Satybaldiev, adding that the council was a sign of the highest level relations between the two countries.

Satybaldiev said that he was also hopeful about the Turkish-Kyrgyz Business Forum meeting.

Satybaldiev will welcome Erdogan at Manas International Airport on Tuesday.

Erdogan previously visited Kyrgyzstan on February 1, 2011.
