Erdogan travels to Bishkek for talks on cooperation

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in the Kyrgyz capital of Bishkek to join a meeting of the countries' bilateral High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council to be held on April 10 and set to produce a range of reciprocal agreements aimed at developing the partnership between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan.

Paying an official two-day visit to Bishkek, Erdogan is scheduled to meet with President Almazbek Atambayev and Kyrgyz Parliament Speaker Asilbek Jeenbekov on the first day of his trip. Following these meetings, Prime Minister Erdogan will join the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, the second meeting of the organization mutually established by the two states on April 26, 2011. Various agreements on bilateral cooperation are expected to be signed as a result of the meeting.

On the second day of his visit, Erdogan will join members of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Business Forum.
