SKOPJE, Macedonia - Macedonia is preparing to withdraw its troops from Afghanistan, Chief of General Staff of Macedonia, Gorancho Koteski said on Monday.

Macedonia's Armed Forces attended the International Security Assistance Forces (ISAF) in Afghanistan in 2002.

Koteski confirmed that Macedonia has troops in international peace forces in Bosnia Herzegovina and Lebanon along with Afghanistan.
