Fenerbahce Ulker's new signing, Pierre Jackson, will arrive in Istanbul on Sunday.
ISTANBUL - Istanbulite giants Fenerbahce Ulker, who have been looking for a playmaker after their Turkish hot prospect Kenan Sipahi sustained an injury, signed 22-year old U.S. guard Pierre Jackson on Friday.
The Turkish club's director, Nedim Karakas, said Fenerbahce Ulker had agreed on terms with Jackson, who is set to arrive in Istanbul on Sunday.
Standing at 178 centimeters tall, the U.S. playmaker was drafted 42nd overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round last summer.
Despite having agreed with Asvel at this season's beginning, Jackson left the French team and returned home.
