English team Chelsea and Galatasaray from Turkey are preparing for their UEFA Champions League match on Wednesday night.

ISTANBUL - London team Chelsea's manager Jose Mourinho said in a press conference Tuesday that his side aim to defeat Istanbul's Galatasary in the first leg of the round of 16 UEFA Champions League match in Istanbul on Wednesday.

Chelsea's Portuguese manager said they were going to look for a win against Galatasaray at the Turk Telekom Arena and praised the Turkish team by saying he will be using some of his best players.

Mourinho said that it would be a very strange feeling to encounter former Chelsea player Didier Drogba as an opponent.

The home team Galatasaray's Dutch playmaker Wesley Sneijder said they all know how important the Chelsea game is and highly respect Mourinho and their opponents but will be aiming for a win.

Sneijder said he was friends with Mourinho, who he was managed by at Inter, off the pitch but will suspend that sentiment during Wednesday's game.

Galatasaray's Italian boss Roberto Mancini said they should take advantage of being the home team.
