Polish president to visit Turkey

ANKARA - President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski will pay an official visit to Turkey on March 4-6 upon the invitation of Turkish President Abdullah Gul.
The year 2014 will be celebrated as the 600th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Poland in both countries.
Bronislaw Komorowski`s visit will inaugurate the 600th anniversary celebrations.
Formal negotiations will take on March 5, particularly political and economic issues, including the exchange of views on current regional and international issues.
The presidents will participate in a symposium on the 600th year of Polish-Turkish relations organized by the Directorate General of Press and Information on the same day.
Abdullah Gul and Bronislaw Komorowski will then meet with representatives of the business world in the `Turkey-Poland Business Forum` on March 6 in Istanbul.
They will then attend the opening of the `Turkey-Poland: 600 years of political and cultural relations` exhibition prepared by the Sakip Sabanci Museum in Istanbul.
