LONDON - The UK will not attend preparatory talks for the G8 summit in Sochi, due to Russia’s military action in Ukraine, UK’s Foreign Minister William Hague said on Sunday.
The UK’s Prime Minister David Cameron said on Saturday that there couldn't be any excuses for any military intervention in Ukraine.
The UK underlined that Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty must be respected.
The Albanian Foreign Ministry also expressed concerns over Russia’s decision to take military action in Ukraine. In a written statement published online, the foreign ministry said it supports Ukraine’s territorial integrity and its accession into the EU.
