WASHINGTON D.C. – The State Department announced on Monday that U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Victoria Nuland will join Secretary of State John Kerry in Kiev, for meetings with top Ukrainian officials Tuesday.
Kerry is presently scheduled to meet with members of the Ukrainie`s interim government, as well as leaders from the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine`s parliament.
U.S. President Barack Obama announced on Monday that Kerry will offer Ukrainian officials specific economic aid packages during his meetings.
Kerry and Nuland will travel to Paris, France and Rome, Italy following their meetings in Kiev.
