CAIRO – Nine people were killed and 30 injured on Sunday when a bus overturned on the Hurghada-Zafarana road in eastern Egypt, according to medical sources.
Hossam Gamil, the ambulance service director in the Red Sea province, said authorities are currently removing the wreckage and looking for survivors.
He confirmed that nine passengers were killed and 30 others wounded.
Initial reports blamed the accident on bad weather and heavy rains.
