Delegate stay extended in Ukraine

ANKARA – Turkey’s Foreign Ministry has announced that the directive under which a delegation, including a representative from Turkey, were sent to Ukraine to monitor the situation in Crimea has been extended.

Representatives from 28 countries, including Turkey were sent on March 5 to Ukraine’s third largest city, Odessa, to observe the developments in the country.

Spokesperson for Turkey’s Foreign Ministry Tanju Bilgic said the delegation team arrived in Ukraine upon the request of Kiev on March 3 for unarmed observers to visit the country to monitor the military activity in Crimea.
