NGOs in Macedonia show support for Turkish PM

SKOPJE, Macedonia - Turkish and Albanian non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Macedonia gave their vote of confidence to Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a statement issued on Friday in the capital, Skopje.

NGOs called Ensar, Klubi Elita, Kopru, Vizyon and Merhamet issued their statement, in which they thanked Turkey for its support to Macedonian people as well as other nations in the region.

‘’We know that Turkey's help to Balkan states over the years helped increase the understanding and prosperity among the countries,’’ the statement said.

The statement also said it would like to support Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan amid the country's struggle against domestic and internal forces, starting with Gezi Park and now a ‘parallel state.’
