Turkey's PM Erdogan meets his Kurdish Regional Government counterpart, Nechervan Barzani, in a closed meeting in the Turkish capital, Ankara, on Saturday
ANKARA - Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with his counterpart of the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG), Nechervan Barzani, in the Turkish capital Ankara on Saturday.
The meeting, which was closed to the press, took place at the Turkish Prime Minister’s official residence and lasted for nearly two hours.
The following ministers also attended the meeting: Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioglu, KRG’s Natural Resources Minister Asti Havrami and KRG’s Minister of Housing and Reconstruction Kamuran Ahmed Abdullah.
